Russian Zis 6 Truck - Unit
Pre-Order
The Soviet ZiS-6 was a heavy 6×4 military truck used by the Red Army during the early years of World War II, valued for its ability to carry heavy loads over rough terrain. It served as a key logistics vehicle, transporting troops, supplies, artillery, and ammunition to the front lines, where reliable transport was critical to sustaining combat operations. The ZiS-6 is best known as the chassis for early Katyusha rocket launchers, giving it a major indirect impact on the war by enabling mobile rocket artillery strikes. Though production ended in 1941 due to factory evacuation and wartime pressures, the ZiS-6 played an important role in supporting Soviet mobility and firepower during the crucial opening stages of the Eastern Front.
This truck was the center of much of the Russian war effort and should be the same for your table top forces. Allowing up to 4 squads of infantry or heavy weapons to be moved quickly across the battlefield, this vehicle will transform many battles.
